FoundCall is a California-based non-profit organization focused on helping reunite lost pets with their owners through an innovative and affordable notification system. With about one in three pets going missing during their lifetime - equating to around 10 million lost pets every year in the U.S. - FoundCall provides a solution aimed at reducing these numbers.

We provide pet owners with a reliable and affordable way to get notified quickly when their pets are found. For just $1 per month per pet, our service gives you peace of mind, knowing that if your pet goes missing, we’ll make sure you get the call.
Traditional pet identification methods, like microchips and ID tags, often have outdated contact information. Studies show that about 35% of microchipped pets entering U.S. shelters have incorrect details, which can prevent a reunion with their owners. CEO: Boydog
(pet human Ric Allinson)Ric Allinson, CEO and Co-founder of FoundCall, is a highly experienced technology executive with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, software architecture, and digital transformation.
In his previous roles as CTO, Yahoo Fellow, and VP of Architecture for the MedicAlert Foundation, Yahoo, and Verizon, Ric led significant strategic overhauls, driving cost reductions and the launch of new digital platforms. A visionary in the tech world, Ric has co-authored several patents related to network infrastructure, identity management, and image optimization.
With a career encompassing large-scale distributed systems, engineering leadership, and product innovation, Ric now dedicates his expertise to alleviating the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet.
CTO: Patrice
(pet human Dav Glass)Dav Glass, President, CTO, and Co-founder of FoundCall, brings over 30 years of experience, with half of that time spent working on high-profile projects in Silicon Valley and the other half dedicated to using his expertise to support non-profit organizations.
He co-founded FoundCall with the goal of reuniting people with their loved ones and belongings, applying his deep technical knowledge to create an affordable and reliable service for the wider community.
In his free time, Dav enjoys sipping a cup of coffee while spending time with his cherished cat, Patrice. As he often says, “We’ve always had pets in our home, and we would be heartbroken if one ever went missing.” This personal connection drives FoundCall’s mission to help others protect their pets.
Fun Fact: Patrice’s name comes from the TV show How I Met Your Mother. Dav was inspired by the moment when Robin would yell, “No one’s talking to you, Patrice!”—a playful reference to the character’s quirky approach to situations.
